Arturo Díaz, dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences of the University of Murcia, will speak this Friday, April 20, at the parliamentary sessions 'Proposals for a new legal framework for sport', to be held at the Congress of Deputies .
Díaz is in charge, together with the professor of the University of Castilla-La Mancha Leonor Gallardo, to coordinate the collection of proposals among professionals in the sector for the drafting of what will be the new sports law.
Díaz works to combine the opinions of elite athletes, specialists, researchers, sports professionals, experts in sports law and managers;
In short, with all those who have things to contribute to make the new law as complete as possible and respond to the needs of the sector.
"It is a satisfaction that has been counted on the University of Murcia to coordinate such an important issue, a sign that they are fixed in the work we have been doing for some time", says the dean of the Sports Science faculty of the University of Murcia.
The parliamentary days have been organized at the request of the spokesmen of the parliamentary groups of sports in the Congress and the Senate and the Superior Council of Sports.
During the session of this Friday in the Congress will intervene Jaime Lissavetzky, former Secretary of State for Sport and current director of the Center for Sports Studies of the Rey Juan Carlos University - CSIC;
and the professor of the Pablo de Olavide University, Mónica Aznar.
There will also be a round table with experts in sports law.
The sessions will be held in different sessions until next June and will culminate with the presentation of the draft of the new Sports Law.
