Among the files processed by the Contracting Committee is the greenway in the old railway line, the rehabilitation of two pavilions of the Artillery Barracks, the children's school of La Paz and the bike lanes in the urban area

The large number of files and the high amount of the amounts of tender has made that the Contracting Committee held this morning at the City of Murcia delayed for more than two hours.

The meeting, chaired by the Councilor for Finance, Recruitment and Urban Mobility, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, has begun the processing of 10 files totaling a budget of 5,879,032 euros, for which 156 companies have submitted bids.

Among these initiatives is the greenway on the old Madrid-Cartagena railway line Costera Sur, whose itinerary runs through Alquerías, Los Ramos, Torreagüera, Beniaján, San José de la Vega, Los Garres and Los Dolores.

To this tender, 40 offers have been submitted, two of which have been granted a period of 48 hours to remedy some deficiencies detected in the administrative documentation presented.

The amount of the work amounts to 1,032,456 euros (VAT excluded).

The basic and execution project for the preparation of the remains of the Molino de la Pólvora and its surroundings, in the Carril de los Canalaos (Rincón de Beniscornia-Guadalupe), budgeted at € 240,000, has received the interest of 8 companies, while for the rehabilitation of pavilions 1 and 2 of the artillery barracks have involved 3 companies, one of which has to correct some deficiency in the documentation.

The tender cost stands at € 2,784,000.

50 companies are willing to execute the paving of the road and sidewalk in Aguamarina Street, in El Palmar, budgeted at just over € 66,000;

6 for the realization of the program for the promotion of physical activity, groups 4-40 and revitalization of the bio-healthy parks (€ 200,000) and 14 to undertake the repair and conservation of the 'Sala Caballerizas' (€ 178,000).

Also, the execution of bicycle lanes in the urban area, through two lots, with a total amount of 1 million euros, will be resolved among the 22 companies that have submitted proposals, while the supply and installation of bicycle parking (€ 38,500) will be awarded between the 4 companies present in the tender (after the exclusion of one).

The remaining files whose administrative documentation has been verified today are the surveillance and security in the squares of supplies (5 bidders and 139,800 €) and maintenance of the telecommunications network of the Local Police (3 offers, one of them pending to be corrected) and (€ 198,000).

On the other hand, the Board has also approved the proposal for the award of the Contraparada visitors center, in Javalí Viejo, to Patrimonio Inteligente SL, with an amount of € 281,987 (excluding VAT).
