We have requested documentation several times throughout this mandate, "however, the opacity presides over the functioning of this body, which paradoxically FROET is not part of"

The Municipal Socialist Group has assured today that "we have never voted in favor of the management of CITMUSA in the various meetings that we have participated because we have not seen the decisions made, which is why the PSOE has always abstained at the same time that we have more concrete data to clear all doubts, "says councilor Maite Espinosa, who is part of the Board of Directors of the Integrated Transport Center.

In addition, he said that "it is true that we have never been denied information but the one they provide is ridiculous, as an example we asked for documentation on the reparcelling of the Center and the only thing we received was a photo taken from Google Maps with the parcels marked".

However, "we have not stopped demanding documentation on different occasions throughout this mandate and we even visited CITMUSA to know the facilities, but the opacity presides over part of the operation of this body that does not even have a web page", added the councilor.

Likewise, it warns that the directors have a face-to-face participation, "they do not consult us at all, they only provide us with the results on which we have to vote".

The Board of Directors of CITMUSA is chaired by the Mayor of Murcia and includes the former Councilor Antonio Sánchez Carrillo, the former Mayor of Alcantarilla Lázaro Mellado and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, the Autonomous Community (Instituto de Fomento) and of the City Council of Murcia (Eduardo Martínez-Oliva and Maite Espinosa).

"We have found it very paradoxical that, precisely, the Road Transport Business Association (FROET) stopped being part of this Council, when it maintains its economic participation," the councilor added.
