The sector has considered that "all these cumulative nonsense makes the slogan of this congress, 'Preserving the past to build the future', and the pretense of promoting the economic impact of the cultural heritage to find innovative solutions, which is one of the objectives of the Congress, when this entity resorts to the destruction of a BIC environment with the sole purpose, of course, of promoting the economic impact for itself ".
"It seems an act of hypocrisy that the UCAM stands as a defender of heritage with this precedent," said Mercedes Nicolás, head of the culture group Murcia Cambiemos, who also recalled that all this is done "while the City of Murcia finalize the draft for the creation of a Municipal Heritage Advisory Council ".
In this regard, Nicolás has maintained that his training expects that "those who are trained to be part of it and those who are not even able to talk about heritage will be taken into account."
