The Chairs of Phonoaudiology and Equilibrium of the Catholic University have organized several events in collaboration with the Murcian Society of Otolaryngology, the Royal Academy of Medicine and Surgery of Murcia and the SEORL
The Catholic University of Murcia will celebrate this Monday, April 16, the World Voice Day on the Campus of Los Jerónimos, with a series of events in collaboration with the Murcian Society of Otolaryngology (SORLMU), the Royal Academy of Medicine and Surgery de Murcia, and the Spanish Otorhinolaryngology Society (SEORL).
Of the programmed activities, a free review of the voice to the faculty and staff of the University and a live television program with experts who will reflect on the health aspects of the voice during the morning of Monday stand out.
Among the participants, it is worth mentioning, among others, the representative of the Royal Academy of Medicine and Surgery, Carlos Sprekelsen, and Jesús Iniesta Turpín, president of the Murcian Society of Otolaryngology.
In addition, within the planned events, the Cloister of the Monastery of Los Jerónimos will host at 6 pm.
the program of the university radio 'Alta Fidelidad' of iradio UCAM, which will be focused on the uses of the voice in the professional environment from a more academic and practical perspective thanks to the participation of the Chair of Speech Therapy of the UCAM and the Masters in 'Audiology' and 'Speech and Language Disorders', including also participation of professionals in the field of communication and drama.
