Cs requires the PP to clarify the bases of opposition of the Local Police to adapt them to legality after the firm response of the Office of the Prosecutor (12/04/2018)

Mario Gomez calls on the local government to reconsider his position and not impose the driving license A that leaves out of the convocation to young people between 18 and 20 years

The considerations of the Public Prosecutor's Office in response to the request of one of the applicants are forceful, giving the reason to Cs that already requested in the Plenary of February last that A2 was the required permission that is obtained with 18 years

The spokesman for Citizens, Mario Gomez, has requested in writing to the mayor José Ballesta an immediate clarification of the bases of opposition of the Local Police regarding the controversial point of the driving license of motorcycles required to clearly establish that it is the A2 (which is obtains with 18 years) and not the A (that is obtained from the 20 whenever you have the A2 for a period of at least two years) the required requirement.

"In this way," explained Gómez, "access to applicants between 18 and 20 years old would not be excluded, as we already claimed in the plenary session last February through a motion that was approved by a majority, with the votes in against the PP ".

The criterion defended by the orange training has been endorsed by the Public Prosecutor's Office in its response to the claim filed by an applicant against the bases published by the City Council.

Thus, the Prosecutor's Office has indicated that this requirement refers unequivocally to the A2 permit that enables motorcycles of all cylinders to be driven and that can be obtained at 18 years, against the imposition of the Government of José Ballesta, whose intention was to exclude of this call to young people between 18 and 20 years.

After the exhaustive response by the Prosecutor, Mario Gómez said that "we hope that José Ballesta and his government team reconsider their position and proceed to make a clarification adjusted to the legality of the rules of this call to avoid causing further harm to the opponents, neighbors and the Administration itself;

assuming in this way the proposal that we presented in the Plenary and that was approved by the opposition groups ".
