The PSOE calls for the creation of a municipal nursery school at the Maestro Enrique Laborda school in Los Dolores (11/04/2018)

Hernandez, who has claimed on several occasions the creation of more places, warns that each course is around 200 children on the waiting list "and they are no longer because there are only schools in seven points of the municipality"

The Municipal Socialist Group today called for the creation of a municipal nursery school in Los Dolores, specifically in the part of the building of the Enrique Laborda School that will be free when the Infantile cycle is transferred to other facilities of this same center.

For this reason, the socialist spokesperson, Susana Hernandez, has already requested in writing the councilor of Education to "take the necessary steps so that in the current building of Infant CEIP Teacher Enrique Laborda install a municipal children's school from 0 to 3 years "

For its part, the vice president of the Municipal Board of Los Dolores, Lola Lacárcel, will take a motion to the House in the same sense to consider that "it is an ideal location for nursery school making the appropriate preparation"

In this regard, he pointed out that "before abandoning an educational pavilion for which we do not know that any use is planned, and taking into account the existing needs, we consider it appropriate to create a children's school there, from 0 to 3 years, to see if this way the PP is targeted a bit in this matter, since it has not created any center of these characteristics in the last 23 years, the same ones that the municipality has been governing ".

Similarly, the Socialist spokeswoman recalled that the only action of the PP in the field of children's schools "has been to pull the La Paz and put the students in barracks, a situation that has been going on for 11 years, and those that are left because to this day it is still without contracting that work despite the promises and photos of the mayor Ballesta ".

Also, Hernandez believes that "the absolute lack of a policy of increasing seats from 0 to 3 years, is just another obvious symptom of the little belief that the PP has in public school" and recalls that "the PSOE has always vindicated the creation of this type of centers, and we will continue doing it since not only those created in the socialist era exist but the current ones have been scarce ".

Therefore, at this moment there are only the seven children's schools of San Roque (Algezares), Beniaján, La Ermita (La Alberca), La Paz (Murcia), El Lugarico (El Palmar), Nuestra Señora de la Fuensanta (Santiago el Mayor ), Our Lady of Los Angeles (Sangonera la Verde), which welcomes about 500 children, remaining on the waiting list around 200 children "and there is no more because there are only centers in seven points of the municipality," concludes the Socialist councilor.
