Thousands of children have already attended the workshops held at the Spring Gardens (05/04/2018)

The activities are centered in the Glorieta de España, the Plaza Circular and Santo Domingo, from 11 am to 2 pm and from 6 pm to 9 pm The cooking, plantation and handicraft workshops, together with shows of raptors, attract the smallest to these squares in which there are also several spring gardens

Thousands of children have participated so far in these Spring Festival in the workshops located in the Glorieta de España, in Santo Domingo (Calle Basabé), Plaza Circular and the Artillery Barracks show.

Together with the floral assemblies, this program of workshops and activities aimed at the little ones is joined.

The City Council, through the Department of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development, has developed an extensive program of workshops and children's activities that will run until next Friday.

Thus, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Glorieta there will be different workshops such as 'Plant your garden in spring', 'Murcia en miniatura: handicrafts', 'Prepare your spring juice', 'Learning to weave' , and 'Artesanía huertana'.

In the Plaza Circular, and with the same schedule, will take place the activities 'Plant your spring garden', 'Showcooking of paparajotes', 'Learn regional dances', 'Murcia in miniature: Handicrafts', 'Showcooking of desserts huertanos', 'Show of birds of prey', 'Learning to weave' and 'Crafts orchard'.

Finally, a storyteller will be celebrated in Santo Domingo every day at 12 a.m. and at 6 p.m., and a magic show will take place at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

All these activities are free and open access.

The 'Garden of the Giants'

In addition, the Silk Garden, the Salitre and El Rocío has 30 attractions distributed in 55,000 square meters, under the name 'The Garden of the Giants'.

It will be open until next Sunday from 11 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 9 pm.

Also, the Artillery Barracks offers the Drilo Zone, with inflatables, workshops and free access animation until Sunday, from 11 am to 2 pm and from 6 pm to 9 pm.
