The users complain about the lack of maintenance in the facilities, with cold water in the showers and turbidity in the children's pool, in addition to other incidents in the activities programmed in the sports center

The spokesman for Citizens, Mario Gomez, has reported that, just days after the awarding of the La Flota sports center to a new concessionaire, the first complaints of users are already occurring due to the lack of maintenance of the facilities.

The complaints of the users, according to the complaints received by the orange training, refer to the existence of turbid water in the children's pool, lack of hot water in the showers, as well as the lack of cleanliness in the facilities and other incidents related to the programmed activities that were developing normally until the concession change.

"We already have the first consequences of the disastrous decision of a government that did not comply with its legal obligation to rescue the La Flota contract to guarantee the quality of service provided," said Gómez, who, based on these complaints from users, regretted that "an installation that has been operating for more than a decade now looks muddy, like the waters of your pool".

In this sense, the spokesman of Cs has warned that "this situation can be the prelude to what can happen in the management of the public service of the sports complex of the JC1".

Therefore, the orange training will request an urgent meeting with the Councilor for Sports, Felipe Coello, "to confirm and analyze these complaints, and prevent and ensure that the new contract does not deviate from the proper maintenance of the service and working conditions of the subrogated workers, avoiding the occurrence of dismissals, mobbing, reduction of salaries or any modification in the hiring that entails a job precariousness ".

"For Citizens, it is essential to eliminate the precarious work that the PP has promoted so much in our City Council, guaranteeing the stability and quality of public services", concluded Gómez.
