More than a thousand people participate in the Kitchen and Recycling campaign that has been developed in 29 cultural centers (27/02/2018)

Murcia already has winners of the First Kitchen and Recycling Campaign that has been developed in recent months in cultural centers to educate and raise awareness about the benefits and the need to recycle correctly in the kitchen, where the household generates the most waste .

The Councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, Rebeca Pérez, has attended the Cooking and Recycling Gala in which she has been awarded with a diploma and the chef's cap of the campaign to 26 finalists of the 130 participants in the contest, which They have been able to show their culinary and recycling skills.

The winner, Juana Hellín, has also been known for her avocado salad recipe with watermelon, which has received the Kitchen and Recycling trophy.

Previously, Chef Susi Díaz, jury of Top Chef and owner of the restaurant with a Michelin star, has taught a master class in cooking and recycling in which she has prepared three dishes specially designed for the occasion while she explained how to recycle properly in the kitchen and the benefits of recycling.

The dishes made have been inspired by a recycling container: Blue container, placed in a paper container (clitoria biscuit with cream cheese);

Green container, placed on half a glass bottle (pea cream with ground sprouts) and Yellow Container, placed on a metal can (hake with cod pipil and crispy saffron).

We must remember that it has reached 1,040 people in 29 cultural centers (Javalí Nuevo, Los Martínez del Puerto, Sangonera la Seca, Gea and Truyols, Javalí Viejo, Llano de Brujas, Los Dolores, Nonduermas, Guadalupe, Espinardo, Torreagüera, Churra , Sangonera la Verde, Jeronimo and Avileses, Sucina, Lobosillo, Corvera, San Ginés, Casillas, Santa Cruz, Cobatillas, Puebla de Soto, Beniaján, San Pio X, Zarandona, Los Ramos, La Albatalía, Santiago and Zaraiche and Bacons Bridge) .

In this way, the residents of Murcia and its districts became aware of the importance of recycling well in homes, emphasizing the yellow container (briks, metal containers and plastic containers) and blue (cardboard and paper) in a fun way to through monologues starring Kalderas, which spoke of recycling in a tone of humor.

All attendees received the apron of the campaign and useful information to participate in the I Kitchen and Recycle Contest.
