On Tuesday, February 27, at 11:30 am, the presentation of the documentary "SENDERO DE LOS CONQUISTADORES, COSTA RICA 2016" will take place in the auditorium of the Faculty of Sport Sciences (Campus of San Javier).
The event will be attended by Doris Osterlof, ambassador of Costa Rica in Spain;
Juan Antonio Campillo, President of the Social Council of the UMU and Andrés Lledó, athlete protagonist of the "Jimbo Challenge".
In April 2016, the Cartagena athlete completed a personal challenge consisting of crossing Costa Rica running 400 kilometers in 7 stages that were developed over 8 days.
His adventure was collected in a documentary that, in addition, has left record of the beauty of the country and its people.
Throughout the tour, organized by the company Jimbofresh, various cooperation activities were carried out with local teaching centers, such as deliveries of school supplies, sports equipment supplies, as well as talks at educational and social centers to establish a dialogue around the values ​​of sport.
After the screening of the documentary, the ambassador will meet with faculty faculty to study feasibility projects between the two countries related to physical activity and sports.
