Murcia Change has today asked the government team to open again the deadline so that the owners of bars and restaurants can request authorization for the installation of bars during the Spring Festival, which will take place in the municipality from March 31 to 8 April.
Councilman Nacho Tornel explained that the City Council opened the deadline in the months of August and September of last year, contrary to the usual practice of other calls, which he did in February of the year in which the holidays took place, that is, Two months before.
Thus, many owners have been left out by not having formalized the authorization within the established period.
The municipal training, which has echoed the complaints of some of them, has considered it fair to open a new deadline so that no bar is harmed by staying out of the call for the dates of the Bando de la Huerta and the Burial of the Sardine.
Some restaurateurs have submitted a formal complaint addressed to the Department of Modernization of the Administration, Urban Quality and Participation claiming the opening of a new procedure to avoid damages in the hotel business arising from the change of deadlines at City Hall.
