The UCAM leads new EU projects for labor insertion in which 18 countries participate (22/02/2018)

The International Projects Office (OPRI) will be in charge of managing new projects related to youth labor integration training with entities from Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Germany, Croatia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Belarus, Armenia, Poland, Ireland, Slovenia , Georgia, Macedonia, Lithuania, Romania and Norway

The UCAM, through its office of international projects, will be responsible for carrying out the coordination and management of new projects, focused on enhancing employment and self-employment with training and preparation that brings them properly to the market labor.

Improving innovation capacity, fostering entrepreneurship, developing skills and knowledge essential for job search, are some of the objectives on which UCAM will work, together with entities from countries such as Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Germany, Croatia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Belarus, Armenia, Poland, Ireland, Slovenia, Georgia, Macedonia, Lithuania, Romania and Norway, among others.

The five new European projects are added to the numerous initiatives that UCAM organizes to strengthen labor insertion in Europe, from education initiatives for young people, international research projects, as well as university-business alliances, which are characterizing this institution in recent years, and that are a support to the business fabric at all levels.

Among the new projects awarded to the Office of International Projects, are 'Smart CBHEI' (Erasmus + KA2), initiative of 14 partners from Spain, Belgium, Germany, Bulgaria, Moldova, Belarus and Armenia, oriented to the field of Training Professional;

as well as the 'Future Builders' projects;

'Story Builders' and 'EVS- Planning is Crucial for Quality', of the call (Erasmus + KA1), in which the exchange of students is encouraged to contribute to learning knowledge and skills of labor entrepreneurship and languages.

Ángel Pablo Cano, Director of OPRI: "These projects are an opportunity for our students, it is important to be part of our European culture and share its essential values." In addition, the nature of some of the approved projects allow us to continue reinforcing the support of the UCAM to entrepreneurial initiatives ".
