The UCAM, the INCYDE Foundation and the Chamber of Commerce renew their collaboration for entrepreneurship training (16/02/2018)

With this new agreement, two self-employment and business consolidation programs will be launched, one in the sports field and the other in the environment and climate change.

Both institutions closed last night three training programs that have brought together about 80 entrepreneurs, in an act that intervened the Minister of Employment, Universities and Business, Juan Hernández

The collaboration between San Antonio Catholic University, the Incyde Foundation and the Chamber of Commerce of Murcia, began in 2014 with the aim of encouraging and promoting support programs for entrepreneurship and consolidation of the business fabric.

The results obtained with these training actions have led the three institutions to renew their agreement year after year, so by 2018, two self-employment programs in the field of sports and in the environment and climate change are already prepared.

During the first month of this 2018, three entrepreneurship programs have been completed, as a result of the collaboration between the Technological Institute of the UCAM (ITM) and the International Women, Business and Sports Chair with the Incyde Foundation and the European Social Fund.

It is about Dicultura, EmFemenino and Smart Factory, three courses that have brought together about 80 students.

In the closing ceremony of these three programs, which took place yesterday at the Campus of the Jerónimos, the Minister of Employment, Universities and Enterprise, Juan Hernandez said that the world of work that we face today is not the same as that of generations past, "current calculations establish that those born between the 70s and 80s will change an average of 14 times of employment, so they must be trained throughout their working lives, which is why these programs are very important to create new companies and achieve sustainable development ".

The Closing brought together several members of the Regional Government, businessmen and academic authorities of the UCAM that covered the presentation of the entrepreneurial challenges of several students of Dicultura, EmFemnino and Smart Factory.

Three programs that according to the executive director of the Technological Institute of the UCAM, César Nicolás have been a success of assistance, and therefore an incentive to schedule new courses, "next Tuesday we launch a new program, Social Media Networker, which already has many registered and which has aroused great interest among entrepreneurs in the region, with the aim of deepening the development of a Marketing Plan and Communication Strategy ".

The deputy director of the Women, Business and Sports International Chair of the UCAM, Concha Bravo, who is also the president of the National Association of Women Entrepreneurs, Directors and Executives (ANAEDE), has been one of the consultants of the female entrepreneurship program.

Bravo was yesterday at the closing, convinced of the need for these programs to train entrepreneurs and avoid corporate abandonment "we are very proud of the students of EmFemenino, it is a program that we have already carried out in other cities of Spain and the result is always very encouraging, women have a creative capacity and overcoming very much in line with the entrepreneurial spirit ".

The INFO director, Joaquín Gómez, also took part in this event, in which, after listening to the presentation of the business projects of the students, he reminded them that the Institute for Development has set in motion different lines of support for entrepreneurs that allow, besides the establishment as a company, marketing and internationalization.

Finally, the closure of the event was the responsibility of the general deputy director of the INCYDE Foundation, José María Párraga, who conveyed the satisfaction of this Foundation for the work they have been doing in collaboration, since 2014 with the Catholic University, which has served to instill culture entrepreneur among the students, "as proof of this we are proud to see some of the business projects that were born in these courses, as a reality and that in many cases have generated jobs."
