Change Murcia has presented today a program proposal for an alternative government (16/02/2018)

Murcia change has presented today to the rest of the opposition groups of the City Council a document with a proposed program for a government alternative to the Popular Party, to move forward the motion of censorship.

The first point of the document, which consists of fifty, is the immediate paralysis of the works of arrival of the AVE on the surface and the defense of the integral burial, "an issue that affects all areas of life in the municipality" as explained the spokesman of the Coordinator of municipal training, Carlos Egio.

"Following the assembly and participatory philosophy of Cambiemos Murcia, the document has been prepared by our thematic and vocal working groups and the citizenship has been able to contribute in an open meeting", explained Egio.

"In the neighborhoods and districts, where citizens are noticing a real change in policies, we are demonstrating with the rest of the opposition groups that it is possible to govern, now is the time to take that proposal to the rest of the City Council."

According to the spokesperson, "the presented document is a realistic proposal to face in a year aspects such as the democratization of institutions, the defense of social rights, equality and the fight against sexist violence, mobility or culture. we forget about the urban rehabilitation and social integration plan of the Polígono de la Paz ".

For Change Murcia the Popular Party has been ruling until now as if it had an absolute majority.

"Those who have allowed it now have the opportunity to show that they truly pursue the democratic regeneration of the City Council", concluded Egio.
