The PSOE claims greater economic and human resources to end the inequality between men and women in the municipality (15/02/2018)

The councilor of the Municipal Socialist Group Begoña García Retegui claims greater economic and human resources to end the inequality between men and women in the municipality.

In this regard, he regretted that "Equality is not a priority for the Ballesta government", since, "if it were, it would have more budget and staff to achieve real equality".

The councilor participated this morning in the meeting for the evaluation of the Equality Plan in 2016 and, after it, has warned that "for the Municipal Socialist Group to end inequality in the municipality of Murcia, wage inequality, inequality for women , is not being a priority of the Government of Ballesta ".

He insisted that the City of Murcia needs more human resources and more budget "if you want to end the inequality that at the moment is a sign of identity unfortunately for our municipality" and recalled that "socialists have contributed ideas once again and we ask that the new Equality Plan be launched as soon as possible, but for that it is necessary to provide a greater amount of money and human resources, because with the current resources you can not ask for new objectives and of course we will never finish with the inequality between men and women "
