Cambiemos Murcia today expressed its "total rejection" of Emuasa's decision to outsource the technical assistance service for maintenance work on supply networks, the Urban Irrigation Network (RUR) and sewerage, currently in the evaluation of offers phase.
The spokesman of the municipal group, Nacho Tornel, has denounced that, with this action, the company, mostly public, is breaching the motion approved in the plenary session of May 2016, by which the Corporation undertook to "propose and defend the internalization of outsourced services and operations "in the Water Board of Murcia.
"Not only outsourced services are not recovered, but outsourcing continues," said Tornel, for whom the company "continues to lose control of its own activities and paying for external contracting" while the government team "systematically continues to lack word of recovering public services to ensure the best conditions of its management ".
Tornel has also warned that the cost of receiving water depends in large part on this type of actions, "which create an expense where the company made an investment with its own resources."
The worst thing, according to the mayor, is that "once again the Plenary Session of the City Council has been underestimated by this company".
Murcia change will protest tomorrow in the Board of Spokesmen before the mayor and will present this month a motion to request the stoppage of the bidding process, and also request the convening of a meeting with the Works Committee to elucidate the real cost of the outsourcing ".
