The mayor of Citizens Paqui Perez today demanded the PP Councilman more seriousness in an issue as important as the ethnographic heritage of the Huerta de Murcia.
"He has played with the 7 bells of auroros by signing an agreement for the promotion of their cultural activity giving them a period of just over 10 days to carry out these activities and formalize the expense," lamented Perez.
In this sense, Perez reminded the councilman of Tourism that "a part of the auroros bells have not been able to make use of this money, for not having had material time for it".
"In addition," he added, "nobody called them to inform them that an agreement with them would be signed in 2017 and, as of today, it is also unknown if this agreement will be renewed in 2018."
The orange councilor has highlighted the importance of the City Council, in addition to establishing this economic aid in a timely manner, tutele, promote and promote this musical tradition that was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest by the Autonomous Community.
Finally, Perez recalled that, thanks to the motion of Citizens, the local administration recovered this line of specific aid to support this musical tradition.
"Now we insist on asking Pacheco to clarify if this agreement is going to be rewritten during 2018 and if he is going to commit to establishing adequate deadlines so that the bells of auroros can prepare their programming of activities with sufficient time".
