The Governing Board has given its approval to the award of four lighting projects to be held in the Almudí Palace and in the districts of Aljucer, San Pío X and Los Garres.
The first of them will allow the façade of the Almudí Palace, recently restored, to have lighting similar to that existing in the building annexed to the Town Hall.
The proposal consists of the installation of programmable dynamic lighting, in color, that allows to realize lighting games.
For this it will be necessary to place linear projectors with RGB LED technology of 11, 22 and 33 W;
a floodlight floodlight with RGBW LED, 43 W above the existing street lighting column, and a projector to accent details of 56 W, warm white.
The total power is 1,232 W.
The work will be carried out by the Electromur company with an investment of 44,897 euros and within four months.
On the other hand, in Aljucer the existing installation will be renewed (26 globe-type luminaires, polluters, with more than 40 years) of the Paseo Doctor Gil, installing 26 points of light type LED of 48.5 W on columns of 4 meters high.
The installed power is 1.1261 W.
The works, with a budget of 23,445 euros and an execution period of 4 months, will be carried out by Elecnor SA
In the Castillo de Olite garden and in the canine recreation area of ​​San Pío X, the existing public lighting system, which is more than 30 years old and has low lighting performance, will be renewed.
The proposal consists of the installation of decorative luminaires of LED technology of last generation, of 35, 39 and 75 W. of power on the columns of the existing garden.
The points to be renewed are 138 and the total power will be 5,888 W, compared to the current 14,135 W., which represents a reduction of 59% in energy consumption and will allow the commissioning of points that remain disconnected since 2012 for energy efficiency.
The budget amounts to 39,632 euros and the work will be developed by Electromur within a period of 4 months.
Finally, in the hamlet of Los Garres will be provided with street lighting the Forest Road where there is a small population center.
To this end, luminaires with latest generation LED technology of 30 W. power will be installed on metallic poles of 8.20 meters high, and a new Remote Control Center will be installed.
The low power of the 17 projected points, amounting to 510 W, will not cause any type of light pollution or alteration to the flora and fauna of the area.
The works, which have a budget of 18,330 euros, will be executed by Electromur in four months.
