The program begins this Friday, February 9 with the children's parade by the students of the schools of the parish that will run through the Health Center, passing through Carmen Street, Murcia Avenue, Asturias Street, Constitution Avenue and will end at Calle del Carmen .

On Saturday, February 10, at 9:30 p.m., the Community Street Carnival Gala and the coronation of Musa and Muso this year will take place on Community Street.

The proclamation will read Doña Rogelia and presented by Encarna Talavera.

The carnival mask will be delivered by the Fundown collective to Pedro Llamas, president of the Chirigota de Cabezo de Torres.

The next day, February 11, various activities will be held from 12 noon in different parts of the district as the children's costume show, with musical performances and gifts for all children who participate.

Within this Carnival party, Holi Life, the color race with live music, will also be held, starting at 10 am on Sunday, February 25.

Awareness campaigns

Another novelty of this edition is the development of two campaigns that seek to prevent the transmission of sexual diseases and sexual assaults.

Thus, during the days of the carnival, there will be an information point of the campaigns # tudecidesloquecompartes and # defiestatúdecides, of the General Directorate of Public Health and Additions and the General Directorate of Youth of our Autonomous Community, in collaboration with the Red Cross of Youth, which consists of informative actions aimed at the youth population between the ages of 14 and 30, with the aim of reducing social disinformation in relation to sexually transmitted infections, as well as supplementing information on alcohol, tobacco , cannabis, and related topics or others that may be frequent at parties of scope and young public.

For these informative actions, we have the collaboration of the Red Cross of Youth, whose volunteers will move through the area where the activity is planned, in order to reach young people, as equals, transmitting a very visual information, clear, concise and of great impact, thus achieving to reduce misinformation, and clarify possible myths created socially.

To this end, an information point will be installed, which will serve as support and support for the young population as well as for the volunteers.

It will be a fixed exhibitor that will be installed in the area where the activity will take place, with the intention of giving continued visibility to it.

These actions of awareness and prevention will be carried out through dynamic and participative activities, which will generate a social impact of alertness, which will provoke a rapid learning, through games and interactive dynamics where the youth will be the protagonist.

Any young person who participates in the activities will be given printed informative material, as well as condoms, in a support that can last in time and can be used frequently by young people, to carry the phone, keys, wallet, and others.

This support, covers, will have recorded the 2 hashtags # youdecidesloquecompartes and # defiestatúdecides with the idea that you can also remember and resort to information that is going to be included in both areas of social networks.

On the other hand, in Cabezo de Torres there will also be an information service to prevent and care for women victims of sexual abuse and aggression.

Under the slogan, "Without a yes, NO", it is intended to encourage the victim to report any act with a sexual indication that is committed without their consent, and that may consist, for example, of a simple touching.

The mannequin, as the main icon of the campaign, represents two aspects: on the one hand, the abuser who sees the person as an object and, on the other hand, the victim who does not speak (the mannequin has the appearance of a person but is an object).

To do this, the posters of this campaign make a series of recommendations to be followed by the women assaulted, such as not changing clothes or washing, go to the nearest hospital or the police station or the Guard post Closer Civil
