The urban development of the municipality has the necessary environmental documentation, although now Murcia does not like it (05/02/2018)

"They mix concepts, ideas and administrative procedures until they reach a scandalous conclusion, even if it does not fit the truth," says the councilor for Urban Planning, Environment and Garden

In the coming days will be known the result of the rigorous and technical study being carried out by a multidisciplinary team of municipal technical services and the UPCT

The partial plans processed by the City Council since the approval of the PGOU have a general nature with documents, reports and studies 'however much it seems to bother Now Murcia', explains Antonio Navarro, Councilor for Urban Planning, Environment and Garden, who says that its manifestations of today 'are not more than an expression of ideas with a plot and political objective, but without any technical foundation'.

Navarro censures the stubbornness of the councilors of this group for 'sowing doubts, even if they have to twist the truth until it adjusts to their wishes' and ensures that in their statements' they mix concepts, ideas and administrative procedures until they reach a headline scandalous, although lacking veracity. '

He adds that now Murcia 'manipulates with absurd figures and with them builds house of cards that do not resist a critical analysis'.

To avoid this, the owner of Urbanism insists that all the members of the Corporation have at their disposal all the technical and legal services to 'resolve any doubts they may have, before making grandiloquent statements that do not hold up'.

On the other hand, Navarro has recalled that in the coming days will be known the result of the Environmental Monitoring and Analysis of Municipal Planning Program being carried out jointly with the municipal technical services and the UPCT, with a multidisciplinary team.

It is a study that will allow to have the results extracted from a technical, specialized and rigorous analysis, with which we can have an objective diagnosis of how the municipality has evolved territorially and plan its future growth in a sustainable, orderly and adapted manner. to the new social and population reality '.

The work will include an analysis and monitoring in two fundamental areas of the PGOU: the one related to the environment within the Environmental Monitoring Program;

and the one that refers to the urban area and the development of the partial plans, with the follow-up of all its modifications, of its urban development plans, and of the current state of the planning instruments.

'Unlike Murcia now, this is a rigorous, well-founded and objective technical study', concludes Navarro.
