The Road Cleaning and Waste Collection Service, through Ferrovial Services, yesterday removed more than 3,000 kilos of scrap, debris and other bulky items in the Avenida de la Fama, Primero de Mayo, Pablo VI and the neighborhood of Barrio de la Fama. peace.
The extraordinary device for collecting this waste began at 7 am and has been carried out by a team of six workers and a foreman who have used two open-box trucks with a capacity of 7m3 each.
Subsequently, the ordinary cleaning of the area continued, which takes place six days a week, from Monday to Saturday.
The collection of equipment is done three times a week.
The collected waste has been varied as barbecues, debris, doors, boards, tables, chairs, appliances ...
For this action has been essential the collaboration of a corporal and three local police officers in order to work normally.
Everything collected has been transferred to the waste treatment center of Cañada Hermosa where, after a separation and classification of the different materials that compose it, they are destined to the recycling, recovery and opportune collection of these collected waste.
