The Government Team proposes the creation of three investigation commissions on employees in concessionaires, investments in districts and the public lighting contract (25/01/2018)

In order for these commissions to be set up as soon as possible, the Government Team has presented more than 1,500 pages of public contracts and investment data in districts in the Plenary.

The deputy spokesman of the Municipal People's Group, Jesús Pacheco, announced that "the Government Team has proposed to the Plenary the creation of three investigation commissions."

Pacheco explained that "to show that we have nothing to hide or have any fear of investigating what needs to be investigated, we will urge all opposition groups to create three investigation commissions, none of which will be chaired by this government team. "

"The first of them will deal with employees in the concessionaires of the City Council, and will be launched with a single request: that is chaired by the spokesperson of the PSOE, Susana Hernandez," said the deputy spokesman.

The other two will be on investments in districts and the third will be specifically on the public lighting contract.

Pacheco recalled that "it will not be the first research commission that we promote or in which we actively participate."

In order to set up these research committees as soon as possible the Government Team has presented in the Plenary "more than 1,500 pages of public contracts and investment data in districts so that opposition groups begin to work as soon as possible possible".

From the analysis of these data, it can be verified that not only "does not benefit from investments in the districts in which the Popular Party governs, as some have not hesitated to affirm" but, on the contrary, "the districts in which it governs the PSOE and Ciudadanos con Podemos are the ones that have received the most investment, both in absolute and relative terms, "said Pacheco.

In addition to the distribution of the City Council's investments in the districts has been made in agreement with the main groups of the opposition, once awarded the amounts, the completion of the work to be done has been decided by agreement of each Municipal Board.

In addition, the investments made in the municipality by the company Aguas de Murcia, as well as public lighting, have clearly benefited the Municipal Boards in which the PSOE governs with Ciudadanos y Podemos.
