On Thursday, January 25, at 12 noon, a ceremony honoring retired professors of the Faculty of Biology during the academic courses 2015-2016 and 2016- is held in the "Hermenegildo Lumeras de Castro" Assembly Hall of the University of Murcia 2017

The event will be chaired by the Rector José Orihuela, the Dean of the Faculty of Biology Alfonsa García Ayala, and the Vice Dean of Students and International Relations of said faculty, Francisca Pérez Llamas, and in it will be honored eight professors who have retired in the last two courses: Manuel Acosta Echevarrías, Juan Cuello Moreno, Pilar Mendiola López, José Meseguer Peñalver, Roque Ortiz Silla, José Sánchez Bravo, Rosa María Ruiz Vázquez and Santiago Torres Martínez.
