Film, skating, dance, graffiti, cooking or videogame workshops or guided tours complete the Networks Program for the first quarter of 2018 (24/01/2018)

The activities are going to carry out workshops in the Cultural Centers, in Municipal Youth Venues as well as in municipal pavilions and sports centers. The program continues betting on inclusive leisure and therefore during this quarter will be the table tennis and football 7 inclusive Championships

The "Networks for free time" Program of the Youth Council starts its new program of free leisure activities and free time weekend weekend for young people from 12 to 30 years.

The new program begins on Friday, January 26 and ends on Sunday, March 18.

In total, workshops will be held for 8 weekends.

The activities aim to boost the weekends by offering alternatives to healthy leisure, are made in different parts of the municipality to enable the participation of a greater number of young people.

Workshops will be held in the Cultural Centers, in Municipal Youth spaces as well as in municipal pavilions and sports centers.

"The new programming is characterized by its variety and attending to the requests and suggestions of young people, this quarter will be carried out activities that have had a great participation in previous programming, but will also include new activities," said Rebeca Pérez during the presentation.

Among the novelties of this quarter we can highlight:

- Activities will be carried out in the university social center, Campus de Espinardo, to facilitate the participation of university students in the workshops of Chess, Bollywood and Oriental Dance.

-Other news of this quarter is the skating workshop in the hamlet of Churra, on Saturdays in the festival grounds.

-The young people can also attend this quarter to dance workshops in the cultural center of Zarandona.

Specifically, a hip-hop and break dance workshop, and in the 585m2 young space will be able to participate in the urban dance workshop.

-Another novelty is the film script workshop, aimed at anyone who wants to start writing and analyzing the script through movies and television series.

-This new program includes a FIFA 18 + Tekken Championship, in which young people can compete in both categories, winning the top finishers.

-The routes guided by the city are in high demand, therefore two new guided routes will be carried out, one of them will be about the "History of our streets" that will take place in February, and in March a very interesting route will be carried out. "Infrequent symbology in the city of Murcia", where young people will have the opportunity to decode what the main monuments and sculptures of our city tell us.

- On Sunday March 4 in Corvera there will be a day of graffiti where you can decorate a wall.

-For this new programming they have returned to include cooking workshops that have participated so successfully in previous editions.

This quarter will be carried out two cooking workshops, the first will be the "Valentine's Day Recipes" and then a workshop "Recipes of Easter" will be developed.

In addition to all these workshops, programming includes radio workshops, manga comics, literary creation, Spanish and electric guitar, fashion and design, rock climbing, ultimate frisbee, jugger, skate, scooter, BMX, magic, personal defense, natural cosmetics , radio, kpop, table tennis, sign language, group sports, skating ... more than 40 free leisure alternatives for young people during weekends.

The Networks program continues betting on inclusive leisure, and therefore during this quarter two inclusive championships will take place:

Inclusive table tennis championship on Saturday, February 3.

7-a-side football championship on Saturday, March 10.
