The PSOE criticizes the government delegate for "taking to pitorreo" the burial and the AVE announcing again new dates (23/01/2018)

Hernandez informs that the deputy González Veracruz will ask again in the Congress for the burial and for the service of Cercanías between Murcia and Alicante that "seems that it will be affected by the arrival of the high speed"

The Municipal Socialist Group today criticized the government delegate, Francisco Bernabé, for offering new dates with the arrival of the high-speed train (AVE) and the completion of the burial works, which "leads us to think that everything is taken this project to pitorreo ", affirms the spokeswoman, Susana Hernández.

For the councilor, "the important thing is not a date of arrival of the AVE but the progress of the burial works, which is the great vindication of the neighbors" and, in this sense, adds that "you can not respond to the entire conflict neighborhood and the macro work of burial announcing dates like someone who pulls rabbits out of a hat ".

In addition, Hernandez believes that "we think that the Government delegate goes to Madrid to meet with the Railway Infrastructure Administrator (Adif) to guarantee the photo of the week, so the meeting lasts less than an hour, I think a project of these dimensions give a much more intense and lasting meeting, just remember the marathon meetings we have had with Adif to know that it is a project with many peculiarities to dispatch in a little over half an hour ".

Similarly, the Socialist spokeswoman warns that the Government delegate is "the same high office that promised to eat the grapes in the AVE in 2015, now offers new dates for both the burial in Carmen and Barriomar and for the arrival of the AVE, so we think that there is too much frivolity in his statements and that he does not take into account the neighbors who continue to demonstrate on the streets and who demand facts, I think he would only have been correct if he had said that the Magi will arrive on January 6 " .

Susana Hernandez states that "since September we have been requesting in the various meetings held with Adif, and we have even claimed in writing, that the arrival of the AVE was subject to having the final project, financing and tendering of the works, in order to give security to Murcia that the burial is going to be a reality. "

For all these reasons, he clarifies that "we ask the delegate not to be anxious to get on the AVE or to announce dates, but to be vigilant so that the whole project is executed with rigor and fulfilling the promises to the neighbors".

Also, it warns that the deputy Maria González Veracruz will ask again in the Congress for the burial and for the service of Cercanías between Murcia and Alicante that, "as we have read in means of communication, it seems that it will be affected by the arrival of the high speed and will force transfers at San Isidro station for trains coming from Alicante, a situation that will cause a lot of inconvenience to travelers until 2023. "

On the other hand, the spokesperson criticizes that the PP responsible have gone to Fitur to "sell a AVE that does not exist and an empty airport, when it is well known the frequent delays of both projects and, therefore, the little credibility that inspires this match with these ads. "
