This Sunday is the fifth edition of the Murcia Marathon in the center of the city (23/01/2018)

Felipe Coello, Councilor for Sports and Health, presented this morning the 5th edition of the Murcia Marathon to be held on January 28 and in which more than 1,300 participants.

This homologated circuit will consist of two 21-kilometer rounds, with an urban route, which will start at 8.30 am on Gran Vía Escultor Salzillo, ending at Plaza del Cardenal Belluga.

This year the novelty of incorporating a Half Marathon, the 10KM and Marathon is contemplated, that is, three races in the same circuit last year.

The registration fee has several sections depending on the registration date: from 35 euros for those registered until July 30, from 42 euros for those registered from August 1 to November 30 and 50 euros for those enrolled from December 1 to January 15, 2018.

This test has numerous age categories: promises, seniors, and veterans A to veterans I (category over 75 years) and runners from all over the national territory and from more than 15 countries participate.

Also, every 5 km there will be supplies with water and isotonic drink, and in the 15, 25, 35 kilometers and at the finish there will be solid refreshment.
