The new directors of the Archive and Naval Museum of Cartagena, the Colonel of Intendency, Enrique Barrull García, and Captain José Luis García Velo, have visited the Rector of the University of Murcia.
It is about two of the dependencies of the Navy with a closer relationship with the UMU through the Chair of History and Naval Heritage, led by the UMU professor Juan José Sánchez Baena.
During the meeting, the Rector José Orihuela highlighted the excellent relationship between the Navy and the University, as well as the magnificent results obtained to date in the different activities, teachers, research and dissemination, which have been organized and carried out jointly through the Chair.
Likewise, there was an evident interest in expanding and developing new projects and collaborations that are beneficial for both institutions and also so that they can be transferred to the whole society.
