Functional foods under examination in the first "Science In Short" (18/01/2018)

The Unit of Scientific Culture and Innovation (UCC + i) of the University of Murcia (UMU) launches its new project in social networks called "Science In Short", an initiative of divulgation through which mistaken beliefs will be cleared and answered to doubts that arise habitually in our day to day.

Weekly, and through the use of a set of illustrative videos, some questions will be solved that interest the population as if it is necessary to worry about cholesterol, if transgenic are dangerous or how a sunscreen works.

The launch of the first audiovisual, which will explain what functional foods are, when they appeared and if they are really necessary for our body, has been preceded by a teaser "to open mouth", according to sources of the UCC + i of the UMU.

With this proposal, the service gives continuity to its work and predicts that 2018 will be full of proposals to bring science to society in the most pleasant way possible.
