Murcia now demands the immediate dismissal of the manager of Emuasa and the directors investigated in the 'Pokémon Box' (18/01/2018)

After the new facts known about the 'Pokémon Case' that directly and seriously affect Emuasa, Murcia now demands the immediate dismissal of the company's managing director, as well as the executives who are being investigated in this plot.

The councilor Miguel Angel Alzamora says that supposedly everything points to that "in Murcia there was what Judge De Lara collected in one of his cars: 'The directors of Aquagest have devised an organized and preconceived plan designed to bypass the barriers of administrations public. "

In this sense, Alzamora stresses that "the performance patterns of Aquagest / Hidrogea, companies belonging to the AGBAR business group, show supposed practices based on deceit and the purchase of wills through gifts, trips, emoluments, presumably, to obtain contracts or guarantee silence. "

"Thus, Emuasa," continues the mayor, "would have been hiring a large part of the services required for its activity to AGBAR companies, despite being expensive, low-quality services, according to corroborated indications in the judicial proceedings in And while all this has supposedly been occurring in the municipality of Murcia, its neighbors have paid and continue paying the most expensive water in Spain ".

Now Murcia, who is personified in the 'Pokémon Case', requested last November the minutes of the Plenary Commission of the City Council and the Plenary itself, held in 2007. In the latter, the Murcia Consistory waived its acquisition rights preferred to keep 49% of the shares of the private capital of Emuasa, which could have caused the exit of Hidrogea and Emuasa to become 100% public.

The municipal party stresses that in these new information of the 'Pokémon Case' affecting Murcia, we again observe alleged irregular practices in relations between members of the Municipal Corporation and Emuasa.

In that 2007 Plenary Committee, it was Adela Martínez Cachá who proposed not exercising the right of preferential acquisition, as stated in the minutes, counting both in the Commission and in the Plenary with the support of all the municipal groups.

It must be remembered that the current regional government councilor Martínez Cachá was then councilor deputy mayor of the City Council, member of Emuasa's board of directors, and president of the General Affairs Plenary Committee.

For his part, Alzamora notes that "the role of the managing director of Emuasa, Albaladejo, has become central to the investigation of Judge De Lara."

According to the information, Albaladejo would then be linked to at least 8 other AGBAR Group companies in the Region, as well as appearing on numerous trips with members of the Municipal Corporation and in multiple signatures of documents related to AGBAR companies.

Faced with all these facts, Murcia now demands the immediate dismissal of the manager of Emuasa and the executives that are being investigated in the 'Pokémon Case', and proposes the creation within Emuasa of a Control and Enforcement Commission, from which they would form part members of the Legal Services of the City, Municipal Intervention and the Contracting Service of the City.

Alzamora emphasizes that "from Now Murcia we continue advocating to deprivatize 49% of the actions currently managed by Hidrogea, as well as having a water and sanitation service that is 100% public and that has real mechanisms of control and citizen participation. Private, even in a mixed company formula, is proving to be inefficient and inefficient, and also a great expense for all Murcia. "
