The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, today held a meeting with different neighborhood groups of Puebla de Soto, where they have paved a total of 20 streets of the district, with a total of 12,700 square meters of agglomerate.
The mayor toured the renovated roads and visited the school Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes and the Senior Social Center, where he shared a breakfast with the town's neighbors.
The action to improve the streets has been carried out after the installation of a new natural gas network, which has involved the complete restitution and integral asphalting of all the streets affected by the opening of the ditches, as well as the painting of the new horizontal signage, at no cost to the municipal coffers.
From the City Council - through the Department of Modernization of the Administration, Urban Quality and Participation - the ordinance of ditches and tastings was modified to guarantee the good state of the public thoroughfare after the execution of this type of work by private companies .
In this way, when a service company undertakes a work on public roads, it must restore and adapt the space to its original state, thus guaranteeing the protection of public spaces and the well-being of neighbors.
