The new Office of the Pedáneo, located in the municipal building of Saavedra Fajardo and with hours from 9 to 14 hours, is the result of the agreements reached by the Popular Group and the Socialist Group in the approval of the 2017 budgets. “El objetivo fundamental es la atención directa, personalizada e individualizada a cada una de las Juntas Municipales, alcaldes pedáneos y presidentes de barriosâ€�, destacó el alcalde, quien añadió que “el sistema de descentralización del Ayuntamiento de Murcia es un modelo ejemplar en el que los 29 concejales que integran la Corporación cogobiernan con más de 600 personas, que son las que componen las Juntas Municipales y de Distrito de barrios y pedanías, en un proceso de participación y cogobierno consolidado, desde la cercanía y la eficacia del día a díaâ€�.

Además de facilitar el trabajo diario de las Juntas Municipales, la Oficina reducirá los tiempos empleados en los procesos administrativos y facilita y agilizará el acceso a toda la información de las distintas áreas municipales.

La gestión de las Juntas Municipales en el pasado ejercicio 2017 destaca por una ejecución presupuestaria cercana al 100% en lo que se refiere al gasto corriente.
