The Department of Social Rights will sign two collaboration agreements that will allow the improvement of the quality of life of people affected by cystic fibrosis and the care of immigrants.
Thus, the first one, signed with the Murcian Association of Cystic Fibrosis, seeks to develop the Psychosocial Care Program for people with Cystic Fibrosis, other pediatric diseases and their families, in order to increase the emotional well-being of the people served, reduce the disorders associated with this disease and evaluate the information and training needs of the patient.
The activities, aimed at the 400 members of this association, are carried out through the services of respiratory physiotherapy, psychological care and social care as well as training activities for families.
The amount of the subsidy is 8,000 euros.
On the other hand, the agreement approved with the CEPAIM Foundation, Integral Action with Migrants, will allow the development of its humanitarian reception Center project aimed at immigrants in situations of vulnerability and social exclusion.
The objective is to provide coverage for the basic housing and living needs of people in situations of vulnerability and social exclusion, providing the necessary tools to function in the host society.
The subsidy amounts to 48,000 euros.
