The Study Rooms Service of the Municipal Library Network of the municipality of Murcia will expand its opening hours starting on January 13th for the next examination session in schools, colleges or universities.

Thus, on Saturdays and Sundays, from the 13th to the 21st of January 2018, according to the call for exams of the Academic Calendar 2017/2018 of the University of Murcia, the municipal public libraries of Murcia will provide an adequate space for the study offering the necessary amenities for students to have an atmosphere of absolute tranquility and concentration.

"We offer about 600 study places in our libraries, with schedules that will allow us to complete the preparation of our young people for the exams in January We put at your disposal all the facilities available in our rooms in the city and the districts" , highlighted the Councilor for Education, Rafael Gómez.

Specifically, the Libraries of Beniaján, Cabezo de Torres, Pelagio Ferrer, El Raal and La Alberca will open on Saturday from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm and on Sunday from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, the Espinardo Libraries ;

San Basilio, Río Segura and Bacons Bridge from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on Saturdays and from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm on Sundays, while the libraries of El Carmen, José Saramago and Santiago el Mayor will open their doors extraordinary form on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Added to this are the 24-hour study rooms of Alquerías, Los Dolores, Los Martínez del Puerto, Sangonera la Seca and Young Associations of Torreagüera and the study rooms with specific hours at the Cultural Centers of Monteagudo and Santo Ángel.

Finally, it should be noted that on Saturday afternoons and Sundays, during this period, no library services will be provided, but the returns of document loans will be accepted.
