The Murcian children have returned, one more year to show their solidarity.
The Councilor for Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, José Guillén, and the Councilor for Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz, delivered this morning to various charities the more than 2,000 toys that have been donated in the large Christmas tree the Circular Plaza.
Thus, the associations that have collected the toys and delivered them to the most disadvantaged children are the Red Cross, Cáritas, Puentes de Encuentro (from the Rosales neighborhood of El Palmar) and the Educa Association (from the Espírito Santo neighborhood).
From the past 6 December, a solidary point was enabled in which the little ones could deliver the toys that they no longer use in exchange for chocolate coins.
In this way, "children show their solidarity and support to the most disadvantaged families, learn that there are others who do not have toys and make more responsible consumption", explained the councilors.
