The Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesus Pacheco, indicated this morning, after hearing the opinion of the Legal Council, that "this resolution gives the reason for the position we have in the Government Team from the beginning with respect to the workers of the Ramón Gaya Museum ".
According to Pacheco, the report recognizes "as we have been defending, that the subrogation of the personnel and the maintenance of their contributions to the Social Security depend on the Foundation.
"In this case we find a complex legislation as it is the budgetary and labor and may lead to different interpretations but the Board believes that, since the Foundation took over the management of the museum and kept the workers of the previous company , there is the right to subrogation by succession of companies, recognizing their work and the right to be paid the compensation owed as well as the payment to Social Security ".
Thus, the opinion indicates that the workers are undefined not fixed pending the publication of the corresponding places that will be covered as established by the law based on a contest of merit, capacity and public concurrence, "Pacheco concluded.
