The San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia has held two solidarity dinners, in which it has gathered more than 2,000 people.
On Thursday took place the students, organized by the International Institute of Charity and Volunteer John Paul II of the UCAM, and on Friday that of the Foundation.
A part of the amount of more than 2,000 covered is intended to increase the significant contributions that the university institution presided by José Luis Mendoza makes throughout the year, but even more so at this time, to entities that work with sick and needy people. from our immediate environment as well as internationally.
Among these initiatives is the formation of agents of charity, especially in Callao and Arequipa;
projects of social insertion, of volunteering in hospitals, with prisoners, of assistance and promotion of health in Africa, attention to minors and the elderly, against gender-based violence or of support for pregnant women, as well as to groups of people affected by various diseases.
The most crowded was the dinner of the students, of all the degrees and courses;
while the Foundation and the players of the UCAM Murcia CB and the UCAM Murcia CF, as well as members of the recently created Alma Matter Foundation, of Catholic schools, to which the San Vicente de Paul de El Palmar, La Inmaculada de Yecla, as well as La Milagrosa and San Vicente de Paúl de Cartagena, whose leaders delivered to the President of the Foundation, José Luis Mendoza, a commemorative metope of the creation of the same.
