The Department of Social Rights, through the approval of the Governing Board of the City of Murcia, has approved a Collaboration Agreement with the Rais Foundation SUPPORT NETWORK TO SOCIOLABORAL INTEGRATION, for the development of the project "Low-Night Night Center for Homeless People of the City of Murcia ".
"From the City Council we continue working to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of people in a situation of severe exclusion in the city of Murcia with a high level of deterioration and with a low level of access to resources through a program of attention to needs basic ", explained Conchita Ruiz.
A program that will receive 80,000 euros from the City of Murcia which benefits the homeless of the municipality and has the following main objectives:
To cover basic and emergency needs for homeless people in a situation of serious social exclusion, through a low-demand Night Center.
To provide first aid, emergency and prevention to homeless people with high deterioration and who do not have access to the standardized health system.
Favor access to resources for homeless people in Murcia who are not accessing the network of resources, favoring the promotion and accompaniment of the individual processes of these people.
Respond to situations of crisis or social emergency from a first open, flexible and temporary, as a response to very different situations or situations that the care and emergency services of the City Council are.
Integrate the proposed actions in the municipal and regional attention network, favoring coordination and networking with the public services of the administration and with the rest of private entities in the same field
