The Governing Board has approved this Friday the signing of a Collaboration Agreement with the Fundación Patronato Jesús Abandonado.
The entity with which the Agreement is signed has the mission of hospitality, welcoming and accompanying people in need of respect for their dignity and improvement of their quality of life.
This agreement, which involves an aid of 125,000 euros, is aimed at the provision of Social and Healthcare Assistance, aimed at the Integral Care of homeless or socially excluded people, in a stable accommodation space.
"The recipients of this collaboration are the people of the municipality of Murcia who present a physical and / or psychological-cognitive impairment, who lack effective social networks, and are in a situation of instability and / or social disaffiliation, and people with a long history of life in the street, with difficulties of links towards the normalized resources, with problems of addictions or of health and with a high prognosis of difficulty for the insertion of socio-labor ", has detailed the Councilor Conchita Ruiz.
In this way, the Temporary Housing Service is increased at the municipal level, at the Homeless Homelessness Center (bystanders and without a roof), and Social Dining Room, which the City of Murcia has arranged with the same Entity.
A service that has benefited 45 people in the accommodations, 45 for the dining room service and 10 more in terms of complementary provision of healthcare.
