The councilman of Traffic and Public Safety, Lola Sanchez, yesterday held a meeting with Espinardo pedáneo and representatives of the Association of Residents of Senda de Granada and Joven Futura, municipal political groups and businessmen in the area to, a Through dialogue and participation, get solutions that improve road safety in the Senda de Granada.
Thus, a deadline of 31 January has been set for the neighbors to present their suggestions, the municipal council itself collecting the writings of the neighbors and transfer them to the council.
Sanchez explained that the Road Demarcation has been asked for a report to know the feasibility of creating a new road that improves mobility in this area.
The proposal raises as the most viable, in the short term, to fix a unique sense of circulation from west to east (from Guadalupe to Espinardo) by providing a circulation lane of 3.5 meters, a sidewalk of 1.80 and a shoulder of 0 ,5 meters.
What is intended is that the circulation both pedestrian and road in the Senda de Granada is more safe and fluid.
In this way, "we initiated a process of participation so that the different agents involved can offer their suggestions to the different existing alternatives and thus achieve a solution agreed upon by all," said the mayor.
