The Puertas de Castilla Cultural Center welcomes tomorrow the celebration of a grand Gala where the winners of each of the disciplines will be recognized. In this edition there have been about 1,600 participants, more than 15,000 attendees and 31,250 euros in prizes
The CreaMurcia Contest has reached its 25th edition in 2017, maintaining its initial objective of promoting and promoting the creativity of young people, awakening vocations and concerns, as well as creating spaces, stages and opportunities for young people to express their talent.
"It is a priority framework of cultural expression, both in terms of production and in the exchange of ideas, being a privileged showcase for new creations in the strategy of art trends", explained the Councilor for Youth and Cooperation al Desarrollo, Rebeca Pérez
For this reason, on Friday, the Puertas de Castilla Cultural Center celebrates the CreaMurcia 2017 Awards Gala at 20:00, in which the winners of each of the categories will be recognized.
The call for CreaMurcia 2017 has comprised 12 disciplines: Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Visual Arts, Comics, Short and Documentary, Photography, Gastronomy, Literature (Story, Poetry and Flash Fiction), Pop-Rock Music, Music Other Trends, Music, Song of Author, and for the first time Fashion Design (Clothing and Accessories).
The event will begin at 20:00 with the performance of Vince, winner of Other Trends.
Later a video summary of the contest will be screened to go to the awards ceremony.
At 22:00 a performance of Las Monstruas will start, second classified in Performing Arts and the exhibition of the awarded works and distribution of the publications will be inaugurated: Music CD, Short and Documentary DVD, Book of Literature, Fancine de Cómic, Gastronomy Recipe Book and Catalog of Plastic Arts, Visual Arts, Photography and Fashion Design;
Ángel Pop DJ will play music at a big party that will close the event.
Among the novelties in this edition are the online registrations, the fashion design discipline, in the categories of clothing and accessories, and the incorporation of micro-stories in the literature option or the participation of the winners of Cómic. in the main events such as the Comic Day or the Salón del Manga.
In addition, the winners of the performing arts will be programmed in the municipal auditoriums.
In the musical discipline, as a novelty this year, € 15,000 has been allocated to finance the music groups 50% of the annual cost of the rehearsal premises for a year and the winners have also had the option to participate in the poster of numerous festivals to be held in the municipality, such as: Lemon Pop, Big-Up, Repanocha, Christmas Rock, Murciasemueve or Wam.
Balance CreaMurcia 2017
In this edition about 1,600 people have participated in each of the disciplines of the contest.
In total, more than 15,000 people attended the events that have taken place throughout the year.
In terms of the events, there are 12 concerts, 8 stage performances, 6 exhibitions of visual arts, photography, visual arts, comics and fashion design, gastronomic shows, 8 audiovisual projections, fashion shows, comic festival (comic day), as well as literary recitals.
In total tomorrow is going to reward 48 people and this year for it there is a game of 31,250 euros.
The distinctions will be given to the first, second and third prize, or first prize and accésits, depending on the modality.
The jury of each of the disciplines has been chaired by the councilor Rebeca Pérez, as well as by specialists of recognized professional, intellectual, cultural or artistic prestige, taking into account in their evaluations the creativity, artistic quality and conceptual innovation.
