The Department of Sports and Health provides Jesus Abandoned with a second defibrillator (13/12/2017)

The councilman of Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, delivered this morning a semiautomatic defibrillator to the Jesus Abandoned Foundation for the social dining room located in the center of Murcia.

In this way, this social entity already has two apparatuses of this type, since one of the installations of the Santa Catalina highway has already been equipped.

The staff of this headquarters of Jesus Abandoned has already done a course of Semiautomatic Defibrillators and Cardiopulmonary Recovery to know in detail the operation of this machinery.

Coello explained that "in this way we continue with our strategy to improve and ensure the health of Murcia in all areas."

We must remember that there are currently 77 teams distributed in 34 football fields, 35 pavilions, 5 swimming pools, two sports centers and the Monte Romero athletics stadium.

Semiautomatic defibrillators are devices capable of diagnosing and treating cardiorespiratory arrest.

Through a series of auditory indications and images they are able to guide their users to assist a person in a situation of possible cardiac arrest.

The device itself will determine if a download is necessary or not.

The semiautomatic external defibrillator is designed for those cases of cardiac arrest that happen outside the hospital centers, since its simplicity of use means that non-medical personnel can handle it safely and effectively following the instructions for use that the defibrillator indicates in each He passed.
