The Contracting Committee studies the 24 bids submitted to carry out the construction of the Alameda del Malecón (05/12/2017)

The Contracting Committee, chaired by the Councilor for Finance and Contracting, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva and attended by representatives of municipal political groups, has verified the administrative documentation of the 24 bids submitted to carry out the construction works of the Alameda del Malecón.

The new urban green infrastructure belonging to the Murcia River project is located on a plot of municipal ownership located between the street Gaspar de la Peña and the river Segura, with an area of 20,000 m2 and will allow a visual communication and pedestrian traffic between the Paseo of the Malecon and the river.

In this way, the connection will allow us to understand the existence of the Malecón, an artificial dam built to defend the city from the overflowing of water from the riverbed.

Simultaneously, the action promoted by the Parks and Gardens area has among its objectives the restoration of the landscape of the place and the recovery of the alameda on the riverbank.

It has also been proposed the award of the traffic management project in Murcia due to the underground railway to Emurtel SA amounting to 139,919 euros.

In addition, it has proposed the award of the lighting reinforcement and improvement project in the Western Industrial Estate of San Ginés to Ferrovial Servicios;

the supply of local police clothing to El Corte Inglés;

Maintenance, conservation and new implementation of horizontal and vertical signaling to the UTE Api Movilidad and Imesapi and the renewal of pavement of the road from the Plaza de San Agustín de Murcia to Miguel Conesa Franco
