The City Council has granted subsidies to three entities to continue promoting and maintaining the culture and traditions of Murcia, which also serve as the tourist attraction of the municipality.
Thus, the Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture, will maintain its line of work with which it aims to combine innovation with the maintenance of traditions in the various festivals and cultural events held in the municipality.
On the one hand, a subsidy has been granted to the Salzillo Museum, amounting to 20,000 euros.
In this way the continuity of this cultural space is favored, also promoting tourism in the city of Murcia and the promotion of it outside the municipal territory.
Likewise, a subsidy of 10,000 euros has been granted to the Caja Fontes de Javalí Viejo Cultural Association for the management of its annual program of activities.
This association is a non-profit organization that was born in 2005 with the purpose of carrying out cultural, social, sports, recreational activities and any other social activity.
Finally, it will collaborate, with an aid of 40,000 euros, with the seven Bells of Auroros of the municipality favoring with it the continuity of these cultural manifestations rooted in the cultural heritage of the municipality.
