Excellence Innova and the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) sign a collaboration agreement for the implementation of the "Master in Cyberlaw" as the University's Own Title, with the collaboration of the Ecix Group, one of the leading firms specialized in Compliance, Cyberlaw and Cybersecurity
The first Master in Cyberlaw was born, in Spanish, to respond to the training needs of the digital landscape in which we live.
And it is the consultancy specialized in technological training, Excellence Innova, together with the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM), the architects of the implementation of this training, carried out in collaboration with Ecix Group, whose revolutionary and technological vision of the sector has allowed place him at the forefront of Law and Technology.
In this new digital environment in which we find ourselves, it is necessary to train new professionals and recycle those already existing in an incipient legal discipline, the Cyberlaw that studies the organization of cyberspace in order to offer effective solutions to the problems that arise on the internet. "
The Internet and its surroundings generate new social and commercial relationships, whose regulation exceeds territorial borders and the order of each country.
The problem derived from the lack of a global regulation of the Internet is part of our daily language: What rights and responsibilities do we have in front of a cyberattack? To whom can we demand an information hijacking by ransomware? What to do if someone uploads content to a platform whose servers are in a third country? How to legally configure a connected car system?
The fight against Cybercrime or the regulation of the IoT are just some of the issues that increasingly arise in the day to day, which the lawyer has to give solution.
It was last October, when Excellence Innova and UCAM signed an agreement that regulates the framework of collaboration between them for the creation, development and implementation of this title, where Ecix Group, led by Álvaro Écija, leads the design of the program , the contribution of professionals as the tutors of the different modules that compose it and the Academic Direction of the same.
The Master is taught through the International Cybersecurity Campus http://www.campusciberseguridad.com, within the Business School of Excellence Innova, and covers both the graduate in Cyberlaw and the Master in Cybersecurity.
The essential objective of the Campus is to become a training space of reference, both nationally and internationally, in everything related to the creation and implementation of training programs and specialization of professionals in relation to technologies, methodologies and processes carried out in the field of Cybersecurity, a discipline of essential interest in a society, eminently technological, like ours.
