The Senior Classroom of the University of Murcia celebrates its 20th Anniversary with a day that serves as a tribute to students throughout their career and that, pioneer in Europe, laid the foundations of their university studies program for over 50 years.
In addition, the day will reflect on university studies for adults in Spain and analyze the status of these programs of studies of the UMU.
The day will be held on November 30 in the Auditorium of the UMU from 12'30, and it will expose the senior volunteer program, a vision on university programs for the elderly in the XXI century, a tour of the past, present and future of the UMU Senior Classroom, as well as the awards ceremony of the Sentiment UMU Senior contest.
The activities will end at 19'30 with a performance of the Choir of the University of Murcia.
This celebration also serves as an Open House to welcome those who wish to know it.
The Senior Classroom of the University of Murcia offers a multidisciplinary offer of university studies aimed at older students who wish to access their classrooms for the first time or meet again with the academic university activity, contributing to their educational development from the perspective of learning to the long life.
