The hamlet of San José de la Vega, in Murcia, will undergo a radical transformation in various green areas.
The Councilor for Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, José Guillén, visited the parish together with the president of its Municipal Board, City Council technicians and the concessionaire company, to know first-hand the needs of the parks and gardens.
Thus, the biggest renovation will take place in the Casa Nueva garden where it is planned to improve and create three new spaces in which the main protagonists will be the youngest.
"It responds well with these new children's spaces to the needs raised by the neighbors so that the youngest population has the necessary elements to develop their activities and games," emphasizes the mayor Guillén.
But it is not the only improvement planned for San José de la Vega, since teenagers may also have a space where they can give vent to their passion for sports and skateboarding.
In particular, the best alternative to build a track for this sport in the district is being studied, thus responding to a demand from young people.
Likewise, the current 'workout' facilities will be refurbished, making them a meeting and sports space for lovers of bodybuilding.
This visit is part of the numerous activities scheduled by the Department of Modernization to the different districts of Murcia to see firsthand their needs and improvements in what green areas are concerned.
