Agreements with five entities will allow promoting the entrepreneurial culture and labor insertion in the municipality (24/11/2017)

The City Council signs agreements with the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Region of Murcia, the Union of Cooperatives of Associated Work, the Association of Paraplegics and the Physically Handicapped of Murcia, the Cepaim Foundation Integral Action with Migrants and the Action Against Hunger Foundation.

The Governing Board has given the green light to agreements with five entities to continue fostering the entrepreneurial culture and employability in the municipality.

These agreements will be carried out with the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Region of Murcia (AJE), the Union of Cooperatives of Associated Work (Ucomur), the Association of Paraplegics and Large Physically Handicapped of Murcia (Aspaym), the Foundation Cepaim Integral Action with Migrants and the Action Against Hunger Foundation (FACH) with a total amount amounting to almost 97,000 euros.

The agreement with the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Region of Murcia aims to promote, promote and disseminate the entrepreneurial culture among young people and inform and advise technically for the implementation of business initiatives.

The City Council will subsidize it with 5,000 euros.

It will also allow the creation of guides that will include the most important steps to follow for the creation of companies and the realization of entrepreneurial motivation seminars and training in various areas of a company, such as managerial skills cycles.

The agreement with the Association of Paraplegics and Large Physically Handicapped in the Region of Murcia (ASPAYM), amounting to 6,000 euros, will promote support for the training of workers and jobseekers and the development of new business projects through self-employment or the creation of companies of people with great disability.

In this way, the social and labor insertion of people affected by some kind of spinal cord injury or great disability is strengthened, as well as improving their level of education.

The City Council collaborates in the assignment of premises in precarious and shared use of facilities and equipment in the different Training Centers of the Employment Service.

On the other hand the extension of the agreement with the Union of Cooperatives of Associated Work of the Region of Murcia, whose amount is of 35,000 euros, will allow to develop actions of promotion and business support, as measures that contribute to the creation and conservation of jobs through different formulas of self-employment.

Thanks to this, the creation, promotion and development of companies, mainly cooperatives, will be facilitated through training and information actions aimed at improving the professional and business qualification of those workers who choose to self-employ.

Likewise, business training actions will be developed as a support measure for employment projects through the creation of companies and the diversification of the business fabric of the municipality will be promoted, promoting viable projects that act on the unexploited resources of the same.

The Murcia City Council is committed to the assignment of premises in precarious and shared use of the facilities and equipment of the different Training Centers of the Employment Service, depending on the availability of the same.

Another of the agreements approved in the Governing Board is the one acquired with the CEPAIM Foundation, Integral Action with Migrants, whose objective is to establish the bases of the collaboration to support the institutional action with the measures carried out by the Foundation, in order to start up how many actions are necessary to promote and facilitate new strategies and methodologies for generating employment.

The City will collaborate with 15,000 euros.

This will allow the realization of processes of social and labor integration of the groups in situation of unemployment and / or at risk of poverty and social exclusion of the municipality.

To this end, information, advice and training measures will be developed aimed at improving the professional qualification of those workers who wish to recycle or improve their jobs. Entrepreneurial culture will be promoted in the primary and secondary schools of the municipality. of Murcia, and employability processes linked to culture and art will be generated, promoted by the CEPAIM Foundation Station, among other measures.

Finally, the agreement with the Action Against Hunger Foundation is limited to the programs that are developed in Vives Project, a program cofinanced by the European Social Fund within the Operational Program for Social Inclusion and Social Economy 2014-2020.

The purpose of this agreement is the promotion and promotion of economic development, the promotion of employment and entrepreneurship, social innovation and the realization of whatever programs and actions are necessary to improve the employability of people, especially those who are unemployed. and with special difficulties in accessing the labor market and at risk of social exclusion.

The City of Murcia in relation to the two Projects Vives Emplea and Vives Emprende, whose objective is to improve the employability of people at risk of social and labor exclusion, facilitate their access to employment and self-employment and the creation of companies through the promotion of entrepreneurship , will make an economic contribution to co-finance it amounting to 35,968 euros.

In addition, the use of municipal spaces is authorized free of charge and temporarily to the Action Against Hunger Foundation in the different Training Centers of the Employment Service that will be adapted for people with reduced mobility.
