The Municipal Board of the district of Bacchus Bridge Bacchus will organize tomorrow Saturday an aeromodelling championship in the form of circular flight, in which participants will show their expertise with acrobatics in the air on the football field in the town.
The circular flight consists basically of flying one or more model airplanes simultaneously equipped with an electric or explosion motor.
Each competitor has seven minutes to draw a series of geometric figures that make up the official acrobatic table, which are scored from 1 to 10 according to the regulations of the National Air Sports Federation.
In order to spread this sport, in Tocinos Bridge will also be made flights of other types of model aircraft such as models and so-called combat flights, in which simultaneous flight two ships compete with attack maneuvers consisting of cutting a tape that carries on the contrary, all at speeds of more than 100 kilometers per hour.
Likewise, a model flight of a Junkers 52, a German-made military aircraft, which was used to transport passengers by the company Iberia, will be made.
The contest and the exhibition will take place between ten in the morning and six in the afternoon on the football field of Bacons Bridge.
