The Municipal Library Network of Murcia incorporates about 12,000 new titles of literature, popularization, cinema and music into its funds (23/11/2017)

The Municipal Network of Libraries of Murcia, dependent on the Department of Education directed by Rafael Gomez, has added a total of 9,517 copies to the library collection, to which 2,000 new titles must be added corresponding to the latest news that has come out market both literature, as works of dissemination, film and music.

The libraries that make up the Network have a bibliographic collection of more than 280,000 copies, including documents in any medium (books, records, magazines and DVDs).

It also has more than 25,000 electronic books integrated into the eBiblio platform, the free online loan service for digital books and audio books from the Spanish Spanish public libraries, promoted by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports and a service provided by the libraries of the RMBM. offer through its website (www.rmbm.org).

Adults can enjoy such well-known titles as "The invisible fire" by Javier Sierra (Planeta Award 2017), "Happy" by Elsa Punset, "Origin" by Dan Brown or "Eva" by Arturo Pérez Reverte, among others.

Children can also enjoy a wide selection of titles, including works for all ages.

We must remember that the Municipal Library Network of Murcia is composed of 17 libraries to which we must add 7 study rooms that have recently been launched.

In addition, between January 1, 2017 and October 31, RMBM libraries have had a total of 486,629 users and a total of 154,054 home loans have been made.

More than 700 cultural activities have been programmed to which 20,324 people have attended.
